Zugegebenermaßen lehnen wir uns nicht wirklich weit aus dem Fenster, in dem wir prognostizieren, dass das nächste wirklich große Ding eine Shoegaze-Renaissance ist, die vor nichts und niemandem Halt machen wird. Die Mäuse von YEAHRS sind dabei laute, kämpferische und gitarrengetriebene Geburtshelfer:innen. Unverhohlene Liebe zum Hardcore und zu Heavy Rock ballert vor fantastischen Shoegaze-Soundwalls. Unnötig zu erwähnen, dass YEAHRS aus der Berliner Szene kommen und selbige ordentlich aufmischen. Wir wollen keine Bandvergleiche anstellen, ihr werdet eh von allein drauf kommen, wem hier Referenz erwiesen wird. Dass es schillernd wird, darauf solltet ihr aber besser wetten!
Admittedly, we’re not really going out on a limb by predicting that the next really big thing is a shoegaze renaissance that will stop at nothing and no one. The mice of YEAHRS are noisy, militant and guitar-driven midwives in this. Unconcealed love for hardcore and heavy rock bangs in front of fantastic shoegaze soundwalls. Needless to say, YEAHRS come from the Berlin scene and are stirring it up. We don’t want to make any band comparisons, you’ll figure out on your own who is being paid homage to here. But you’d better bet that it’s going to be dazzling!
