Die dreiköpfige Band OMNI SELASSI wurde 2019 von Rea Dubach in einem infernalischen Geistesblitz zusammengebracht. Seither wird die Band aus Biel, Bern und Leipzig mit Rea Dubach (voc, git, efx), Mirko Schwab (dr, electroharp, git) und Lukas Rutzen (dr, perc, bass) von einer Bühne zur nächsten gehypt. Selten passiert das Gleiche zweimal: OMNI SELASSI spielen sich und euch in den musikalischen Untergang. Und nichts bleibt, wie es war: Gespalten und zerlegt, symbiotisch, androgyn, kaleidoskopisch, polytoxisch. Zwei Schlagzeuger:innen treffen auf eine:n Sänger:in, eine Gitarre und allerlei anderes Zeug, Schnickschnack, Blödsinn. Pop, Grunge, Ritual, Punk, nie als Dogma, immer als Versuch des Scheiterns. The three-piece band OMNI SELASSI was brought together in 2019 by Rea Dubach in an infernal flash of inspiration. Since then, the band from Biel, Bern and Leipzig with Rea Dubach (voc, git, efx), Mirko Schwab (dr, electroharp, git) and Lukas Rutzen (dr, perc, bass) has been hyped from one stage to the next. Rarely does the same thing happen twice: OMNI SELASSI play themselves and you into musical ruin. And nothing remains as it was: split and dissected, symbiotic, androgynous, kaleidoscopic, polytoxic. Two drummers meet a singer, a guitar and all kinds of other stuff, knick-knacks, nonsense. Pop, grunge, ritual, punk, never as dogma, always as an attempt at failure.
