FLAWLESS ISSUES ist in der Szene schon längst kein Newcomer mehr. Der gebürtige Stuttgarter gehört mit seinem nostalgischen 80er-Jahre Synth-Pop und Surfgoth-Sound neben Künstern wie Levin Goes Lightly oder Edwin Rosen zur „Neuen Neue Deutsche Welle“, die gerade durch die Musiklandschaft rollt. Thematisch beschäftigt sich der Solokünstler vorrangig mit abgründigen menschlichen Emotionen und dem Alleinsein – quasi die Romantisierung der Melancholie. Umwoben von Instrumenten durchbricht er die eigene Schallmauer aus nostalgischen Retro Wave mit seinem düsteren Gesang.
FLAWLESS ISSUES is no longer a newcomer to the scene. With his nostalgic 80s synth-pop and surf-goth sound, the Stuttgart-born artist belongs to the „New German Wave“ that is currently rolling through the music landscape, alongside artists such as Levin Goes Lightly or Edwin Rosen. Thematically, the solo artist deals primarily with abysmal human emotions and being alone – the romanticisation of melancholy, so to speak. Interwoven with instruments, he breaks through his own sound barrier of nostalgic retro wave with his sombre vocals.
